Mortgages after Trust Deed

I have recently finished a Trust Deed and i am fully aware of the problems in acquiring credit in the immediate future. What i would like to do is plan ahead and save as much as i can over the next 2/3 years. I approximate between £8k-£15k savings.
Being honest i was an absolute fool when dealing with my finances and borrowed way above what my salary could afford me. I take full responsibility for my idiotic behaviour but when a loan company can give you £20k over 10 years within 2 days it is quite easy to be led astray especially at the age of 24 (thought i could afford all the borrowing).
My daughter was born in December 06 which has made me get my act together but unfortunately my partner and i seperated last year and im looking for the best accommodation as can't stay with my mum & dad forever (although they have been so supportive).
Any advice would be well received be it critical of my behaviour but will be put into use!!!

Impossible to answer I'm afraid, so all you can do is save until such time as you might be able to apply.
What lenders look for is stability. Your chances will improve the longer you stay at an address, stay with your employer, stay on the electoral role, remain with your Bank and just conduct your life in an orderly manner.

I had no idea of what a trust deed was until I read your post and consulted wikipedia and found this.
I have no advice to give and I am sure that you will work things out.
