I dont know if im posting this on the correct thread so apologies if im not!
I am due a tax rebate of quite a few hundred pounds but the taxman says he cant pay it to me as one of my employers refuses to give him any information.Is there anything i can do as this seems a bit unfair to me ?

You could try writing to the employer concerned. Has HMRC confirmed that they are continuing to press the employer for this info? If not, why not?£705,000 raised by client groups in the past 18 mths :beer:0

Do you have the P45 for that employer? Or a P60 for the year. Either of these should have the info they need

Ive written and visited the employer but he is being really awkward.Lets just say when my employment ended, he`s lucky he wasnt taken to a tribunal.All the tax office keeps saying si that he isnt answering any letters and puts the phone down on them.Do they have a legal right to chase it on my behalf ?0
