Internet Purchase advice

Hi

Last month I "bought" my wife a tiffany necklance off tiffanycollections.co.uk (website is now down) following the purchase I was redirected to an amercian site called newtiffanyjewelry.com and billed by them. I've researched the site and it is a scam site and I have no hope of getting anything from them.

I have cancelled my credit card and set up a dispute over the payment. Does anyone know if I will be able to get my money back?

Thanks

Gary

Your credit card company should be your first port of call, as long as it's a credit card not a debit card, you should be able to claim back, this is why we pay by cc online, keep on at them though all you may fall through the cracks, good luck :)
  • Yes you should write to your credit card company & follow up with phone calls.

thanks for that I have filled in all the forms and let them see the emails I got with a blag reference number on them.

I will be speaking to the credit card company today to see what the score is.

    Thanks for the advice

  • You do have limited rights with a Visa debit card (only) up to 120 days. You do a visa chargeback through your bank
