So this is a county court judgement? Was this the first you heard of it?
If it's a CCJ then you should be able to contact the court to have bailiff enforcement action suspended while you make an arrangement to pay the debt to the court directly.If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything0 -
I would contact herbie21 website, and see about getting the levy stopped before your BR date, as you shouldnt deal with any old debts/creditors once you are BR other than to tell them you are BR and these are the details.

The CCJ will be taken down with the BR anyway, it is worth noting if the car is over £1000 the odds are high you will be forced to sell and buy a cheaper car, giving the reminder of the sale to your official receiver.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
