The last few years we have booked our holiday ourselves - arranging our flights through Jet2.com, aerlingus or easyjet and sorting out our own accommodation through ownersdirect, travelrepuplic or any number of sites. We are a family of 2 adults and 3 children and have travelled to Costa del Sol, Tenerife, Majorca Disneyland Paris etc this way and have always saved over £1000 off what the travel agent is offering. I wouldn't do it any other way now!!!!If my post helps you, please click the 'thanks' button. :T0

I'm thinking it's time me and the other half start looking for a holiday for summer 2010. Anyone else thinking of their summer hols yet? haha
We don't really have a clue where we want to go, and we also don't have specific dates that we need to travel.
If I go to the big usual sites I have to specify dates and locations for any flight searches out of the Belfast airports. There are of course lots of adverts for those who can fly out of the big mainland airports, but I'd rather fly direct. So are there any useful sites that cater for us Norn Iron folk and I can do big searches for all holidays flying out of Belfast?
I'm also looking ideas for somewhere to go if anyone's had a really good holiday in the last few years and wants to recommend somewhere. I'm 32. She is 24. We want somewhere that is sunny and we can get a tan. Also nice bars and restaurants in the evenings, and she is also insisting on good shops too! Left-field ideas also welcome as we have done the usual Spain/Med/Greece holidays in the past.
Hoping everyone wants to share, and maybe start getting excited about some warmer weather haha
We have a private villa with private pool in Turkey - you can enjoy mega exchange rates in the summer. It is set in the mountians near Fethiye - a very stylish city in Turkey and not far from Olu Deniz, Cellis beach and the Millionaires play ground of Goceck.
It caters for six people and is a no smoking house (thats what gardens are for). Fees are £400 per week for two people and £50 for each person upto six after that. If you want details please PM us...
Turkey has great food, awesome nightlife and is not in the EURO>>>>0
