i joked with Big G (back in the days when he had a sense of humour!) - i should grabbed onto the only thing available and saved myself a tumble...

but come to think of it, that might've been a worse thing to have to explain to ambulance crews!!!

Just had an ebayer complain about the price of my international postage...

But I always post international signed for - and on this particular one will lose about 2.40 on the cost of postage let alone the cost of the envelope....:mad::mad: even had the cheek to go "at least will i get a jiffy bag?".

I arrived at Natasha's nursery just at the right time today - Santa was just about to arrive!

The kids were so excited, bless them. It was lovely. Natasha leapt up and down saying 'thank you thank you thank you' when he called her name out and gave her the present.

On the way home, she excitedly recounted the tale, mainly in toddler babble, of how she got a present from 'Sandra and his dinosaurs'. :rotfl:

I am going for a run in about an hour. _pale_

It's horrible rain here, wish it was snow, the clouds looked full of it all day.

Been to Morrisons, they're not doing ducks this year, so I'll have to get up early next wednesday morning to get one from Asda. It's not the end of the world if I can't get one, since I've got 2 duck legs lurking in the back of the freezer, but since I've got a xmas dinner budget it'd be nice to get the full one so I can have the nicer meat, and it'll last for more meals. Especially if I hack the legs off before cooking and freeze them for later. So then I dashed round, and forgot half of what I went for. Nevermind, I'm home now!

I gave my postie his box of chocs today, he seemed really happy but asked if he could come round in an hour to get them when he'd finished his round, and when he did someone had trumped me with a tin of celebrations! At least he'll walk all the calories off when he's back at work.

Squizz, I need a hat and gloves before I go to Venice, I got a hat a couple of months ago but it's green and then I went and got a pink coat... I need them for the Yorkshire winter as well as for foreign climes though!
