    Hello!

Got to work today only to fnd out I have actually booked today off as holiday (presumably to recover from the party last night, as I booked the day off before I knew I would have to drive).

Not a wasted journey to work luckily, because it's N's party at nursery today (nursery is on-site) so I would have taken her even if I'd known I didn't have to go in.

Parents were told last week they would need to provide a small gift for Santa to give their child...sheesh, thought the elves were supposed to take care of this stuff! Times are hard! :D

Have just spent money I really shouldn't have and bought new running/hockey kit - it's lovely, dark grey with a little hint of teal. Can't wait to wear it, I'm sure it will make me run faster. :rotfl:

Sal, I think it was a 'want' too. :o Although I didn't have any full length bottoms to train in (mine are 3/4 length), which means very cold legs in this weather, plus everyone can see the VERY attractive shin guards when playing hockey.

So the bottoms were verging on a 'need', and my CDO wouldn't have let me wear mismatched training gear. :D :rotfl:

Night out was okay thanks Beanie - couldn't drink so just had iced water all night, ate salmon and veg and left the sticky toffee pudding :A and was home before midnight, so it wasn't the wildest night out ever...plus my throat is still sore, so shouting over the music was hard work. But it was better than sitting at home bored, and my team are all lovely people, so it was good to see them outside of work.

I'll let you off on the bottoms then Snags...I think they were probably a need. I remember in Jan last year running in 3/4 lengths in the snow...really wasn't pleasant
