Natwest & apex
Options
Hi I'm new to this. I took out a professional loan with Natwest in 2001. I asked a company to look into the agreement to see if it was enforceable or not. I have an agreement dated 2001 which is not enforceable. The company I used did not hear from the Natwest for a while so I called them. The person I spoke to stated that they has destroyed the fie and were currently typing up a copy. I am a solicitor (this is not my field though) and a colleague can confirm what the guy said. Natwest eventually sent the agreement stating there was a second agreement in 2002 which they sent the company. I do not recall ever signing this and question the authenticity of my signature on it. The Natwest declare on the document that it is an original yet even my address is wrong. They have used my home address on it yet my address at the time and listed with them was my student address. I did not chnage my address to home until 2004. I have serious doubts about the "originality" of the agreement. I keep everything and do not recall ever signing this. I am now being hounded by Apex who say they have taken over the debt.
I would appreciate any advice.
Thanks

Did you borrow the money?
Morally, for me, that is the only relevant question.0 -
I thought it was obvious as I have detailed the word "loan" which does mean borrow in banking terms. Moreover I would appreciate advice not somone using the forum to soap box their moral high ground. :A0
