Chappy, you'll find hazelnut whirls in boxes of Roses though I haven't seen them sold seperately for ages.
Or did you mean Walnut Whips? I used to love the coffee ones but haven't seen them for years either, just the vanilla ones in Poundland.

Geordie_lass, Walnut whip coffee my husbands favourite not seen these for years either, why don't they bring all these old skool chockies back even if its only for the christmas period,

No they are wrapped individually made by Cadburys solid chocolate with an hazelnut in the middle.

If you have a Cadbury's discount shop near you, in a discount retail park, they sell these loose. We have one at Dalton Park and it is similar to the old pick & mix at Woolies but easier to use as you have a full container of each different sweet.0
