Psychic lines

Options
Does anyone work for a busy psychic line? I have just wasted 15 hours to earn £12!

I need to earn extra money but cant afford to sit waiting for the phone to ring!

  • Did you not predict that one coming?? ;):D
  • Did you think psychic lines were a get rich quick type of job? You are very much mistaken. Its like any other job where you are self employed and have to deal with the public on a one on one phone line, takes ages to build up a regular clientele. Its sad that people actually ring up the psychic lines though as I know so many girls who work on the psychic lines who know bog all about psychic stuff but just pretend to be genuine. Anyone can do it but only those that are highly skilled at communication will earn any decent money from it.
  • I appreciate your comments but I am a genuine reader and have my own clients too. I just looking to earn a little extra money but will look elsewhere.

Dont be too harsh, a lot of readers actually believe in themselves when in fact they are merely very good at this http://www.ianrowland.com/ItemsToBuy/ColdReading/ColdReadingMain1.html, if you do feel you have a genuine talent why not go for this http://www.randi.org/site/index.php/1m-challenge.html then you can forget about phone lines, many have tried but nobody has been able to claim it yet......
Thank you for this site Martin

As I see it, the thing with tarot card reading, once you're registered with a company who are putting calls through to you without you having to do any marketing is:
    - as the newest entrant, you will be "at the back of the queue" for current inbound calls. The longer-standing people will be at the front of the queue and you need to be with them awhile to work your way up the pecking order
    - maybe the hours you're logging on aren't the peak calling periods at all, check out their peak periods and log in during those shifts
    - mostly, they will pay you a premium for keeping somebody on the phone for as long as possible, often rewarding calls of over X minutes (often 20 minutes), so check your readings are as long as possible.
    - over time you'll build up your own regulars

It's a long-term income plan really, the longer/more you do it, the higher up the pecking order you get, the more regulars you get, the more you can string out the calls to pass their magical bonus points.

Of course, outside of this, you also need to think about which company you are registered with, who else is there, are the others better.

Additionally, you could look at setting your own premium line up and working directly for yourself. There is a system that enables you to do this easily that's quite cheap to set up... but you do then have to advertise yourself (which can cost a lot of money).

    Good luck though!

No one doubts you are genuine, but anyone who can read out a cold reading script is genuine.
The fact that the law now requires all cold readers (sorry, "psychics," to say that it is "for entertainment only" tells the rest of us all we need to know.

Seriously, why the hell do it as part of a psychic line. That's just dumb. Go to genii forum, send a PM to Mark Lewis and ask his advice. He makes a thousand pounds a day working the psychic fairs, but even with less experience you can make much more money than via a psychic line through your own physical client base.
