Get someone else to open it for you and put it in a different container yourself?
I don't really understand the problem, I can open them easily enough and I have reduced grip strength in my hands.0 -
I just get it from Sainsbury's Pharmacy (500g tubs) £1.97, I must admit the seal is VERY hard to pull off, I often use my teeth (for lack of pliers!) and I'm a strapping 29yr old.
After that though, the lid is no prob, it twists on and off in less than 1/2 a turn I think.
I've also bought it in Asda for about £1.850 -
I don't have a good grip so rely on OH to open the tubs. However, even he struggles! Sometimes the plastic seal breaks and makes things really difficult or the lid won't turn. The whole point of having this cream is to help my skin (hands are the worst) so I can't understand why they put this in really tough to open tubs.
ETA: Boots are the only chemist where the lid comes off easier but they aren't cheap.0 -

Savers also has it cheap and the lids aren't difficult.0

Didn't think about the weight and cost of postage until after i posted you.
Yeah ofcourse i will, i'm sure they will be able to get something for you. Do you mind me asking what area /region you live in. Also is it turning the lid to get it back onto the thread of the lid that you struggle with and would you find a lift off top easier?
After all pharmacist do transfer alot of medication into weekly pill boxes for a vast number of patients which is a very time consuming task.

There will be a limited number available to shops cheaper due to damage, unfortunately the major issue. Is simply down to weight of the product and careless packaging.0 -

Ok Thank you.;)
Hi,
Spoke to a pharmacist today for you, he sent an enquiry to manufactures to see if they provide/supply a re-usable lid. However hi did ask if you had considered using aqueous cream pump-dispenser?
They are more convenient than other containers and are less likely to become contaminated by potential pathogens.
They are also available on Prescription this does depend on the quantity you are using though. I said i thought you were buying over the counter, he'll source the best online pharmacies within your area and email them through to me.
Let me know your thoughts regardingthe pump-dispenser.
Regards
Geraldine
Hope this helps you, let mek know regarding the dispensor0
