Hopefully I am on the correct forum, apologies if not. Does anyone have any information or dealings with the company called Directloans Uk Ltd, run by Mr Steve Halsey and Mr Ross Russell? They are based in Sheffield. I am not sure if they are legitimate or just ripping both the general public off and also potential/existing franchisees. Any ex or present employees shed any light? Any present or ex franchisees any info?

Can anyone help me please? I paid a £5000 franchise fee to this company that has now, as it turns out, scammed lots of people and are uncontactable. I paid it in June last year and I paid it via a credit card cheque. Someone has just told me that as I did not get the services that I paid for that I can claim it back from the credit card company. Is this true???
