i can answer my own question! just used
FREEAPRILPP successfully on a 2 item order of less than 10 pounds... expires tomorrow, 30/4/12

(although I have been told by BP that AFAPRILFREE should still be working, it didn't work for me)

On another site (HUKD) someone has stated that AFFREEPOST allows free delivery. Thanks to that poster, if you wish to thank them you can go to that site.
