Thank you to everyone who posts comps xxx0 -
I got some of the red & silver.
I doubt they've ever really been £20. Look more like the £10-12 range from other stores. Still great for a fiver though.0 -
I had a look in Homebase tonight, they had the £30 crackers down to £7.50, not that much of a bargain. In our family I seemed to have been given the task of sourcing crackers for Xmas for the last 10 years. I'd say that the original price of these should have been no more than £12-£15 based on the gifts inside them. If you're after a pretty looking cracker and uses quality paper and looks good then you'll like these, they do look quality, however if you like to get something decent in the way of a gift (and that is why 'you' pay out for luxury crackers) then you'll be disappointed.0

I went last night and got crackers, also really nice cards reduced to 49p.
Lots of decs reduced to 49p as well. Got loads of bargains so dead happy.
They also had a mini tool set which DS has been after, in Hobbycraft it was £19.99 but reduced to £4.99 in Homebase so very happy with that.0 -
Thanks will pop in tonight and have a look.
Read this from the news of the world dated 2 months ago and you will see they still make a good profit on these things with 70% off.

A synthetic tree you would pay £10 for in Britain costs just 20p. A dancing Santa that would sell for £20 is £1.20.
From above link - that is a bit of an eye opener !!!!!!!!
I went and got the reduced paper but still thought the crackers were to much......0
