1/2 Price Beef, Lamb and Salmon at M&S

I thought i would pop this on here for those of you looking for an alternative to Turkey at Christmas.

Marks and Spencer have half price legs of lamb, Beef joints, Smoked salmon and whole salmon sides. The offer started yesterday (Monday), no idea when it finishes. But when you can buy very large legs of lamb for just over £10 its worth freezing them if you worried about missing the offer.

Thats me sorted for Xmas day anyway :T

Just checked the Whole Loch muir Salmon side its 1kg in weight and sells for £9.99

Is that a fully prepared salmon, without scales bones etc? What would it normally retail for?

The ones I spotted were prepared salmon sides, no bones and no skin. Like a huge version of the fillets you see around. I'm not sure but as they say its half price then it must be something they sell at £20.
The normal 250g salmon fillets I buy are just over the £4 mark so even if you cut it up and freeze it in parts its still a lot cheaper than buying salmon that way.

For the last three years I have bought a whole salmon from either Asda or Morrisons for £10!!! They seem to take it in turns who does it each year and they leave it quite close to Christmas before the offer goes on. Not seen it yet but here's hoping!
