RPOINTS and Amazon credit card

Has anyone put in a manual claim for this and if so, how long did it take for the points to appear on your statement. I registered my claim about 5 weeks, and would have thought they would have sorted it by now. The rpoints website says that it can take upto 8 weeks to sort out, but just wondering whether anyone else has experience on this....
