Mega Index Link - where's it gone????

Heeeeeeelp!!!! Tried accessing Mega Index Link and it is closed (Shock! Horror!). How can I access all the invaluable information that I used to find on there?

Thank you mgardner, tankgirl1 and Swan ... I had clicked onto the Mega Index thread > Cleaning > Oven > (the required posting) and was taken to an 'invalid post' note. I tried again (still the same) so consequently came out of the posting, back to the Mega Index thread and saw the 'closed' signage. I therefore assumed that the thread was closed, hence my plea for help!

However, I used the link (thanks, tankgirl1!) and ended up with the same response as previously, so clicked onto a different posting in the 'oven' section, to 'test' it - lo & behold, THAT post came up OK, so the problem is obviously with a specific post, rather than the thread.

So thank you all for the speedy response.

PS: If the Mega Index thread is still open, why is it showing as 'closed' (alongside a symbol of a padlock)?

Hiya. The closed padlock means that it can't be added to with further posts.

As for accessing it, there is a problem which the team are aware of, but I don't know how long it will take to fix. I can't get into it but I understand a couple of people have had more luck if they've signed out first and looked at it as a 'guest' rather than a user. Might be worth a try.
