Advice needed please.

I am a single parent,paid morgage for last 10 years on my own.Now want to release some equity ,but because exs name still on deeds the building society wont let me.Ex lives abroad havent heard from him in over 9 years.Only 7 years left on morgage.plenty of time to extend morgage.What do i do next?

    Suggest you speak to a solicitor?

    Alternatively take out an unsecured loan if you need to access the equity. The rate might be a bit higher, but loan rates are very competitive right now.
