I heard a rumour that if it was a draw Ikea where giving customers free roam of the shop !! NOT LOL

  • If IKEA wrote: "If Sweden dont win, chairs are 1p & if England dont win, meatballs are 1p" we would still be eligable for the chairs AND meatballs as they both England nor Sweden didnt win!

Well looks like IKEA got lucky. Seeing as they probaly have !!!! all stock of the chair, and the meatballs are 99% cow !!!!!!!!, they set up a promotion that they couldn't lose on anyway!!!

Do critisise what they say, and what they do, especially if what they say is different to what they do. They can help that"

I dont think it was luck- given the historical results between the teams and the fact that both sides would be suited to a draw, they figured a draw would be the likely outcome and they were right!

we have these chairs, got them for £3 each in bargain corner - very useful for our small house. we were poised to buy some more tomorrow in fact.

ps. instead of dumping good furniture, why not freecycle it?

just to let you know because we just scored i rang CROYDON IKEA and they said they only had 18 of red and 18 of white so i dont think ill bother as if you go in a 9am when they open you have to wait till 10am to buy anything anyway so it will be a waste of time if they havent got any!!
he also said all other ikeas will have a ltd stock anyway so dont get your hopes up!!

    GO ENGLAND!!

do you think they've probably run out of stock by now?
