Un-enforceability Question?

I am with the CCCS at the moment and they are a great help. I have a question regarding 2 CCs I have, a Barclays(debt with them) and a Cap One(debt with Lowell). They were both taken out prior to 2007, is there any point in checking the unenforceability of them or are there certain scenarios where I am past that point?
I have tried reading through the templates thread and I get the jist of what I would need to do, just not sure if it is applicable.
