How often should a payment be received?

CSA have finally after 3 years managed to track down my DD's father now that he is claiming JSA although it means he only has to pay £5 a week and he still has a huge amount of arrears with them, im grateful for it because it is more than i have received so far!
They originally traced him to JSA back in June this year but they had problems actually attaching the deductions from his JSA because it was being done as a clerical claim
They put in a manual request to the JC for the deduction to be taken and i finally received a payment on the 18th November of £10.
I have had no payment schedule sent through, i presumed that if i received that payment once it had come off of his JSA then i would then receive the same amount each fortnight but there has been no further payment
Is it worth contacting them? What concerns me the most is that he has signed off and has decided to 'disappear' again so that he gets out of paying (this is what he has done continually up until now) do i leave it for a bit and see what happens or do i ring them so that they can chase it up incase he has signed off and does just disappear?
Does anyone else receive their payments from NRP from their benefits that can give me some idea of the timescale between their payments? I really dont want to ring up if i dont need to

PrincessPlaty I am really surprised you are trying to get child support from your ex! In the grand scale of things is it worth it? Especially as he has tried to kill you and your children, you have moved several times, changed your names and have a non molestation order out on him.*SIGH*

It originally went through the csa because due to claiming income support they made me submit the claim to the csa even though i didnt want to!
They keep all my details private including address and the name change and that was my main concern! They have assured me that they dont need to mention mine or the childrens names due to the fact he has already previously agreed that they are his children.
Despite what he has done he should still pay for his children shouldnt he even if it is only a fiver a week?

Not at all but maybe life is too short to put your and your childrens life at risk should he find out where they are all for the sake of a fiver.
I'm all for NRP's paying for their kids but sometimes things need to be put in persepctive. I wouldn't trust any 'assurance' from the CSA about anything...the amount of info I have got about my ex from them is scary0 -
It isn't always a matter of choice my daughter was told she had to claim through the csa for her child and her partner had tried to kill them. A quick chat to the solicitor and she now has a letter from social stating that because of her ex partners actions she does not have to claim and they won't stop her benefits which is what they threaten.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

The rules changed in October 2008 - from then both new and existing claimants no longer had to use the csa.0 -
