    Morning all!

I failed miserably last week too!

I was doing ok, up until I met up with a load of friends on Saturday - haven't seen them in months due to being busy with work etc. and ended up eating out (both lunch and dinner) plus spent a bit on drinks - after heading out to meet them at lunch time, I rocked back up at home some time after midnight!

Total spend for the week was therefore about £75 - pointypenguin please show me red too!

This week I plan do do my Xmas shopping and it's my turn to do a big food shop - so I'll pledge £150 - surely I won't bust that?!

Well done EC12345, kate_pixie, natsing and sarsief for coming up green last week - hopefully the rest of will be better behaved this week!

    Good luck everyone!

  • No spend day for me today : ) as not ventured to the shops.

I have to go into town tommorow to post a parcel so Im just going to take a £10 note with me and no cards then theres no temptation to stick it on my debit card! I dont know why I hadnt bothered doing that before!

As planned and anticipated, today was my big SD - I did a big food shop and bought the Xmas pressies, which came to a grand total of £111.42! However, that does leave me with £38.58 for the rest of the week, which is very do-able ... I didn't get any wrapping paper, but if I have time, I might go creative instead, which is always more appreciated as well as cheaper!

On a plus point, yesterday was a NSD!

Hope everyone is doing well with keeping to budget this week - good luck!

  • Millionaire shortbread is the best!!

I'm down to 7.08 after spending 8.21 in tesco today (should last me until I go home for Christmas) and unnecessarily spending 2.07 on a coffe in costa, 99p on choc biscuits and 1.65 on fruit salad from M&S. I blame work as I was working away from base hence the temptation!!
