Independant article on swap sites

Just been reading this article on swap sites. It is really quite interesting

http://money.independent.co.uk/personal_finance/invest_save/article1089645.ece

Funny they say bartering is back I thought it never went away. I have been using one of these sites: eswapit.com as suggested by green pixie for quite a while now. However as the guy from the site says in the article whatever your online trading method you have to be prepaired for the risk.

when you swap over the internet you have to remeber that youre swapping with a stranger and however nice tehy may sound in pm's you still dont know them. ive done about 40 swaps on bob's and have not recieved anything once and have recieved a used item even though i was told it was new once, you just have to take it on teh chin or not swap.

You need help urgently. Being conned once is bad going back a second time is stupid but to do it 40 times is undiscilble.
Have you informed the police? What action have they taken?

I think they were saying they had not received anything ONCE. Which isn't quite so bad!
