Poor Credit Rating (from Stooging) now need Mortgage!

Well, as you can see from the title I'm in a bit of a pickle.
Having amassed £30k in 0% cards (all in savings account) and then eventually been refused further cards, my credit rating has nosedived. However I have no CCJs or failed repayments or the like and am financially solvent. This only became a problem now that I want to get a mortgage.
Simple online applications have failed because of the poor credit rating, but in fact I can afford the repayments on the mortgage that I need.
I have approached an IFA who is looking into it but doesnt seem too confident in something not quite "normal"
mmmm....
Our offer on a house has been accepted and we need to secure a good mortgage asap.
Does anyone know good mortgage brokers in Bucks Oxon or London area who can deal with this.
All advise gratefully received
Thank you!

Having £30k on credit card balances will impact against you quite heavily with most lenders. Can you post any details on property price and deposit you have?
I'm sure you you will be able to find a normal mortgage though - not quite sure what your IFA means?I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
