UNSECURED LOAN - Retired Private Tenant
Any opinions gratefully received:
I am retired with pensions/annuities income around £20K pa.
I am a private tenant.
I have a clean Equifax file with no credit account information.
I have a CCJ (with Notice of Correction) and a Credit Card for £2000 on Experian.
I wish to raise an unsecured loan for £5000 to settle my Credit Card, and more importantly with the other £3000 pay for a private operation for my wife to resolve (hopefully) a serious hip problem.
Can anyone act as my adviser (:T) as to who you think could help.
I do not want to shop around and put search footprints on my credit files to no avail.
Many thanks

cant the NHS resolve the hip problem?
could be an idea to spend £150 to see a consultant privately then back to the nhs with his help and advice.0 -
Apply with Zopa or Tesco as they only check Equifax.
Good luck.Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0 -

They have different thresholds for the Markets part and the Listings part and have accepted via Listings people they declined in Markets for lack of sufficient visible history.
Declaration of interest: I've both an outstanding loan with many lenders via Zopa and have lent a greater amount than is outstanding to others via Zopa. I also currently have a few thousand Pounds on offer at Zopa, mainly in case rates become sufficiently positive to interest me. If you do use the Listings there please privately message me with your Zopa user name so I can ensure that I don't lend to you and inadvertently benefit from this post. I can't eliminate lending to an individual via markets but I currently think it's unlikely that I'll lend to many people via that route.0 -
You don't have to pay loans back, so take out a loan.0
