£107 worth of wine for £31 Tesco in store

Picked up a good deal on white wine today and the receipt looked as follows:

Oceans Edge £8.99 x 12 = £107.88

Wine 3 for £10 discount = - £67.88
Wine Discount = - £5.40

Total to pay £34.60
Minus Coupon -£ 3.00

Total £31.60

So 12 bottle of wine for £31.60 that is approx £2.64 per bottle for a £8.99 wine. The till takes the 5% wine discount for buying more than 6 bottles of the original price ( £107.88 ). The wine is on 3 for £10 so more savings.
The £3 coupon came from the Somerfield magazine showing £3 off £30 spend and you can pick up loads from Somerfield shelves.

Hope this helps

I have a save £15 when you spend £60 on wine coupon. Do you think this will come off the full price ?

Thanks for that - can confirm that it is still working at 5% off full price at 6:45pm.

It is also working on the red Cour D'Albret Buzet at £7.99 which is also in the offer. Could work with the others too but I think these were the most expensive red and white in the offer.

Also got A Carpentier Champagne at £10 each on offer from £23.99

Does it taste like an £8.99 wine or is Tescopoly inflating the price to then discount it?

The coupon will only work if the total of the transaction is £60, not the subtotal

It's good enough value at 3 for £10 but I'd never pay £8.99 for it. There are much better NZ sauvignon blancs on the market at that price.

None left in our local Tesco. SA said it had 'flown off the shelves'. Offer ends today too, he said.

    New set of offers tomorrow.
