You could try that and threaten to cancel and see if they offer a deal on SKY+
I also want SKY+ but have not completed my 12 month contract yet so I know I wont get anything out of them until my 12 month's are up0 -
firstly always use this number when phoning sky its free 0800 587 5707 it tells you to press 1 but dont press anything - the message comes up twice but eventually it passes you through to a customer service rep.
Then tell them that you are really interested in sky+ - ask them if they have any introductory offers on like free box, free installation etc.
I got a leaflet through the post yesterday saying recommend a friend to sky and they can have a free sky+ box - so if you dont get anywhere tell them that you got this leaflet too - ( they will have sent it out to loads of people) and ask them why existing customers dont get better deals.
We threatened to cancel yesterday and now get the full sky package for £31-80 per month instead of the £42-50 for the next 12 months.
You dont get anything with SKY unless you ask for it - so be cheekyRemember is nice to be important but more important to be nice0 -
thanks for that but no good.. called them, they said £99 for installation and free box. said it was only £89 online and that I'd seen the leaflet about it been free for new customers, went on about how they offer it free to new customers as they make their money back with the new contract.. went through to cancellations and still nothing..
can anyone else recommend anything else ?0
