Re Sky and your telephone bill - Is your BT line rental the same £11.00 per month that we get? If so, Sky (and AOL do one too) do a great telephone package - ours is £5.00 per month (plus the BT line) and that gives free calls 24/7 to all 01/02 landline (local and national in the UK) as well as to many overseas countries. We well and truly get our monies worth plus more on our package. Cant remember if ours is with AOL or Sky at the moment, switched from one to the other for some reason....but have had it for years and is great.0

hi anxious mum my oh tells me that he just recently switched the phone line to bt as we were with talk talk so cant switch yet as we would get charged a leaving fee will check and see just how much this would be as it could work out cheaper even with the charge he says he applied to get sky for everything but was told that they weren't up here yet?? will check and def make sure though. i know our broadband contract has expired and can now be switched as we are with bt broadband/home hub phone.0

Tricky, we don't get Sky packages here either, we have a wee old fashioned exchange and only one broadband provider. No cable, no handy shops to pop round to at closing time and grab great bargains. Hence me saying try huge pots of porridge and soup, pasta, and pudding lol !0

Hi,
I have been there and for three years constantly juggled my debts to try and keep my creditors as happy as i could. Some weeks we had less than 15.00 pounds to feed a family of four so you can imagine the pressure and the negative effect it was having on family life.
This year I approched CCCS for help. It has been the best thing we have ever done. We have been on a DMP since sept and although still difficult at times to cope a great weight has been lifted and I feel we are getting a life back.
My advice to you would be to seek help from them asap.0
