Went in to store today for these aswell as to do my weekly shop and the naughty staff in my store had not changed the price tickets from last week so loads of people were passing buy not batting an eye lid.

Managed to get 6 choc oranges - one sons xmas prezzies to his mates and 9 boxes of fingers for the other son to take to school for his mates. No popping candy or white choc oranges in our store and only normal or double choc fingers available.

Lost 3st 5lb with Slimming world so far!!
  • Got my choc oranges! Hartlepool had loads of milk and dark ones but only 3 mint (bought 2 of them) and none of the others. They had a display by the entry with just milk ones - had to go to the proper aisle to get other kinds. Same with the fingers.
  • In my local store they were at the entrance, then in the normal sweet aisle and also in the Christmas Market aisle so its worth having a look about for the ones you want.
  • Picked up my quota of each ;)
    Thanks OP

In my local store they were at the entrance,

At the front of my local store there was a piles of sweets, boxes of licorice alsorts and wine gums for £1.99 each, advertised as being half price.

They were £1.99 last year too, and I'm sure they have been £1.99 for most of the year.

just to add although i am not sure but there will probably be a limit on these probably 2 deals per customer, i.e 6 of each

at mine i bought 9 oranges with no questions/refusal. unfortunately i hadn't read your posts then and thought the choc fingers were b1g1f so paid for two what i could have paid for six! damn!xx
