Can anyone recommend a CD player with MP3 dock (NOT i-pod!)

Hi, daughter wants a new CD boombox or equivalent for her room, but would also like one that she can play her MP3 player through.

Searching online and its driving me mad, as its so hard to tell whether the MP3 bit is what we want or not? She doesn't have an ipod, but a samsung MP3, so connection would have to be via the headphone socket (I think? - I've seen speakers that do this!); most just have an ipod dock or just don't give enough info.

Sooooo, has anyone got one and can tell me make & model etc?

Looking to spend about £50.

Try sony- they do tend to lean towards the ipod multiplayers, but of all the players I searched for (I wanted sepakers for my MP3) Sony were the only ones to supply a cable with hte majority of their speakers. The player I have is still designed for an ipod, but it has a cable which attches to the audio output part of my MP3 player and means I can listen at home on my speakers!
I didn't look for one that also had a CD player but I'd imagine they would be the best brand to look for.

Failing that, try a proper mini- stereo. I got one when I was 15 to replace my "boom box" and have to say the volume isn't that much louder so don't be too afraid!
