Equifax "Outstanding Debt" search query

Not sure where this should go, but....

Equifax keep a separate list of "Outstanding Debt" searches as well as the normal credit search, I believe these remain on file for 2 years not the normal 1, however if a search is carried out by a company such as Mac Hall/Aktiv?Lowells AFTER the debt is actually statute barred then can the person concerned apply to have it removed?

The search may still be within the 6 year period following default as this may be a few months after the time that the clock started ticking for the SB.

Thanks...
