Hi, I have and old (2nd generation?) Ipod nano & was thinking of getting a transmittor thingy to play it in the car. So was just wondering if anyone had seen any good deals - I dont want a crappy one, some decent maybe up to £80 if necessary. Also at some stage il hopefully upgrade to a newer ipod so want it to be compatable!
thanks in advance

My OH bought an adaptor that plugs into the cigarette lighter earlier this year and the sound quality was so bad that it was relegated to the back of a drawer.
I've been looking for an alternative, this one is less than a tenner but gets very good reviews:

If you live in a large city with numerous radio stations then forget about using a transmitter.0

I've used the itrip for years. It works great. Just find an empty FM channel, then tune your ipod into it.
Make sure you have the volume up high (95%+) on your ipod though, or the sound quality will be poor.
A few years ago I bought my OH a Monster cable. Although it works very well, out of the two, I prefer the itrip as it works anywhere, without cables (of course, you'll also need a separate charger cable). Whereas the Monster works by connecting via the cigarette lighter socket so it can only be used in the car.Marching On Together
I've upped my standards...so up yours!0
