How long to hear from the OR?

As the title says really, we spoke briefly to someone in the OR's office on Monday at court, but since then have heard nothing.

I know they are very busy but thought we would have heard something by now?

Just want it all over with now!

it was nearly 4wks before we heard anything. Dont worry...

That long! That's fine then, I'll stop worrying, my mind was working overtime that there was a problem and so on, you know how it is!!

I do know how it is, I remember the feelings well.. just wanting it to be over with.. afraid to open the post incase it was from the trustee.. but it will be over before you know it, I have been discharged for 5 months now seems like yesterday!

I think it depends where you are. I had a pack from them 7 days after my BR and a telephone interview after 10 days from BR. Two days after my interview I had a letter from the OR saying my car would be exempt from my assets. I was surprised with the speed, especially as I live in such a big City.

i spoke to or assistant on tuesday to arrange a day for the phone call, or phoned me last night to change date. i will speak to him on 23rd dec at 10am.

had the pack in the post today so need to get that sorted x

Depends on how busy your court is. I had to wait 5 weeks before I got a court appointment then a month before the proper OR phone interview... it was 5 months before I applied to the court before my first IPO payment was made!!

We went to court (north Yorkshire) on 23rd of Nov. Got our packs last Friday the 4th Dec, and are having our telephone chat next Tuesday. Spoke to OR, to see if could re-arrange interview, but she said it is manic and would not be till after Christmas.So we stuck to the original appointment.

Still not heard anything, but if I base it on fredfedups timescale as it is the same OR office then I should get something tomorrow.

I just want to hear something!!
