Have you been on a Friday before? I'm wondering what the traffic willl be like, wondering which way to go, A34 and down the M3 or to cut across via Petersfield, I suppose traffic will be bad whichever way I go but just wondered which way you'd recommend. Great photo's...thanks[/QUOTE]
Yes, 2004 was Friday (and 2005 a Sunday, this year I could have gone on any day so picked Friday as its quieter), I think we'll go A34 -> M3, and we're leaving Swindon at 7.30 so I expect we'll get stuck in traffic, but not too worried - one of my colleagues knows the short cuts/ways round the area so we'll find an alternate route! Both the times the traffic was worse on A34 going home (we stopped off for food instead of queuing).0 -
Hi,
Does anyone know if The Times (or anyone else) are doing a free tickets offer for this even again in 2007.
I went last year on the friday and it was a fantastic day. Th event is due on around 22nd June, so not too long......0 -

Hi,
I have seen no sign of any free tickets offer yet. As the event is only aprox 3 weeks away now, I suspect we wont get any such offer this year.
Will keep my eyes and ears open though.....0 -

I've just applied for two tickets. Has anybody been before? Is it good? I know my boyfriend would this, with the likes of Colin Macrae there etc (I would love it too). I've got the Jeep trial day on the Sat after so was thinking to take him to the festival on the Fri, (I've text his boss to see if he can have the day off and I'll surprise him, then travel upto Peterborough Fri night, stay somewhere and do the Jeep day sat.
