Possible EXTRA 15% off EVERYTHING at B&Q

Just been to my local B&Q (Canterbury) for some Sandtex paint (20% off) and saw a sign saying there's an extra 15% off kitchen appliances. I was after a new oven & hob, found one for £330, less 15% = good price, sorted. Found my paint (reduced by 20%) so picked up 4. Also found a strimmer for £12, bargain... :cool:

...anyway, when I got to the till, I reminded the 12 year old till boy to take 15% off the oven & hob, then he said that, for some reason, the system takes 15% off EVERYTHING bought with the kitchen appliance - and it did, including an extra 15% off the already 20% off paint - sweet as! :rotfl:

This may only be a glitch in the matrix at Canterbury, but why not give it a try?

15% is off marked prices on Kitchens, Appliances, Bedrooms, Bathrooms and Conservatories only from 9th June–25th June and is only available when you spend £50 or more. 15% does not apply to orders placed online (https://www.diy.com) or by phone.

The signs say kitchens etc on sale plus a further 15% off when you spend over £50. Do you reckon bathroom stuff not in the sale but over £50 is included?

make sure you tell the checkout staff to take the 15% off I never, thought
the till would know and ended up spending 15 mins at customers services
getting her to refund everything, then had to go back to checkout to pay
again.

I don't know if it is every day, but I bought a lawn mower last Wednesday. Using my mother in laws OAP card it gave 15% off instead of the usual 10%. When we queried it thinking there may have been 15% off gardening and the 10% over 60's hadn't been taken off we were also told when there is 15% off it takes it off everything and can't be over rode?

I work at the checkouts at B&Q and you won't fool me with the 15% stuff. I work in Luton so don't try it!
