Hi
I have been using the 'conditiiner only' method of hair washing that I saw on a thread here for 2 weeks and my hair has felt much better but I need to calm it down when its dried as I find my hair more fly away, I use Frizz Ease at the mo but I have masses of hair:rolleyes: so need something that stays a little 'moist' in my hair to weigh it down I guess, so has anyone ever style their hair with olive oil on its own or mixed with another styling product?

Hi, I have similar hair to you and I CO wash too. I think OO is way too greasy for my hair but I do use it as a preconditioner before I clarify. Coconut oil is less greasy and lighter than OO. I have also discovered Vitapointe which is a cream leave in conditioner for dry hair which you put on the ends. It nourishes as well as gives it shine and gets rid of the frizz. HTH0

I'd be a little concerned about the smell of olive oil personally.

I use the olive oil as an overnight conditioner, but use almond oil quite frequently on the ends of my hair.Loving the sunny days!0
