Not just that- they can fuse an entire home- as did my friends (fake ones) the fuse just went out in the entire house- luckily she was all already done up to go out so not too much damage done! (she doesn't understand fuse boxes and had to rope one of us to come fix it for her!!)

Others have been known to set fire and some are a danger to even plug in as cables are incorrect! Be VERY careful!

It's straightners that are not called GHD however seem just as good too from markets, unknown websites etc.

I got some a few years ago called Kodo which were like GHD's, just a good but without the price tag- still cost about £40-50.
Ended up catching fire, thankfully i'd just taken them away from my face seconds before otherwise it could have burnt my face.
