My family and I are moving to Fife in the next couple of weeks and are looking into a local organic box scheme - one we have come accross that seems reasonable is bellfield organic nurseries.
Has anyone ordered from them before ?? Just wanted a bit of info on quality and quantities delivered if poss,
Thanks !!
p.s: we are looking at the family sized vegetable and fruit box for £13.

Bellfield are great. You can register likes/dislikes and (mostly) they remember. We stopped the fruit option after a while because it was just apples and pears which we grow anyway! Good luck.0

Welcome to Fife!
I've used 3 different organic veg box schemes (the previous 2 in East Lothian) and Bellfield is the best of them. I just get the £10 fruit & veg box (well actually it's a bag) and that's plenty for just me - I've discovered the joys of juicing to help use up the leftovers!
I've found them to be very good at remembering my dislikes. I've occasionally had stuff that's been a bit past-it when it's been delivered, but the vast majority of the time it's good quality stuff. And you get a wee newsletter with a recipe (very useful for the more obscure veg!)
I'm not sure about the fruit though - yes it's organic, but most of it seems to come from South America which kind of defeats the purpose of getting a local box. They say they grow all their own veg though.
I recommend it.0
