The 'Douglas' set is rubbish, don't waste your money. The eyeshadow lasts about 30 minutes before coming off. The Estee Lauder set looks like a fantastic buy though, and you know it will be good quality :)

I'm sure I bought one of the Douglas thingys the other day for £3.93 from The Hut, I think it was. I've got no idea what it was like as it's been wrapped up as a present for a young girl, who I'm sure won't care too much....LOL

Oh it will be fine for a young girl, that's how I know it's not great, my daughter has one of the palettes and I borrowed it one night. My lass thinks it's great, dreading the day she starts caring about expensive make up...:rotfl:

I've got four girls and they ALL steal my Smashbox and Bare Escentuals stuff

Mind you, that's how I justify the cost to myself - it's not just for me :p
  • I use MAC and truly believe you get what you pay for, if your buying as a gift for a teenager or someone who wears makeup for special occasions these sets are a bargain, but if your buying for yourself and your going to use it say everyday instead off occasionally invest in a more expensive brand trust me on this, plus your worth it! :D
    Comping wishlist for 2017
