I give up entering comps

16 months and not a single win. What a waste of time. Thousands of comps entered, not even a DVD or book has been won.


All I have got for my trouble is an inbox of junk mail every single day.

Awww - shame you've not won so much as a sausage! Did you enter comps every day or was it just a couple of hundred every month or so? Very unusual not to have won anything in all that time! Did you find your own comps before joining here? Just that I notice you only joined up in Feb. If you've been using another site that just sends you junkmail, that's probably why. I don't get any from the comps I've entered here (apart from loads of newsletters) - but do from another 'pretending to be a competition site' site which I joined before finding MSE.

Sorry to hear you haven't won anything yet, it must be very frustrating especially when you put all that time into entering competitions. I am sure your luck will change and I hope that a few prizes turn up soon!

Well i win quite q bit with my hotmail...
When i changed to my BTconnect i won nothing...
As soon as i went back to hotmail i won again....

1000s of comps may not actually be many, could be 2 or 3k, how many did you mean? I must enter around 50ish a day so about a 1000 every 2-3 weeks... I still may go a few weeks with nothing, but often get something most weeks (fingers crossed so I don't jinx myself).

In 18 monthes, this means I'd have entered about 30,000+ comps - OMG!!!

I really don't think it matters. I'm used to be with aol I wan loads - now with googlemail not noticing any major diffrence.
btw I'm feel on a lucky streak this month -no wins since October up until this week when I've been having a couple of small wins. Got a feeling a biggie is just round the corner
