In my local siansburys (bispham) last night and they had 16" pedastal fans for £12.44, seems like a good bargain.....

They've gone down slightly. They were £12.97 at my local about 10 days ago - I also posted more fan sizes at http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=210203. G

Anyone had any problems with these? Mine doesn't work and when I removed the plug from the socket I got a minor shock from it (the plug).

I've just spent half an hour putting it together (that plastic strip round the fan guard is a nightmare) and can't be bothered taking it apart.
