Morrisons are doing the following festive meal for just 4 of your hard earned pounds
Contains the following
2* 600g tomato and basil soup
1* 900g Pork joint
1* 1kg Seasonal Veg
1* 600g Strawberry Triffle
Wont suit people feeding the 5000 at christmas but might suit anyone having a smaller meal on a budget. Saves £8 off the normal price of buying these seperately

Thanks.
Could any of these items be frozen?I Hate Jobsworths!!!0 -
The soups should be fine (we have similar soups from tesco in our freezer for xmas). I would imagine the joint would be ok and the triffle, the only cause for concern would be the veg I guess.
We're going to check it out as my OH's mother and sister are struggling to afford a Christmas dinner so for £4 we'll grab it for them. I'll report back on freezability0 -
The carrots and sprouts will freeze fine if parboiled first. I personally wouldn't freeze the trifle as I think it would be very watery on defrosting."A cat can have kittens in the oven, but that don't make them biscuits." - Mary Cooper

What does OH Stand for?! I see nearly EVERYBODY using this phrase in various posts/boards and it's a bit frustrating not knowing what it means! Any other abbreviations I should know about that are commonly used on here? Thank you very much in advance.Getting married to a wonderful lady on August 10, 2012.

Just bought mine. Absolute bargain. The pork is a nice (smallish) loin joint which can be frozen and the soups can also be frozen. The trifle is to be refridgerated only.0

Are the items all in the same place in the store to make this purchase easy? Don't want to buy one of the wrong things and end up paying way more than the £4 offer!Getting married to a wonderful lady on August 10, 2012.
