In the technical data spec. on the Amazon site it states :-
Input voltage: 9V.
It also says that it comes with a power supply transformer thingy. Are you sure that there isn't a little cover that comes off somewhere to reveal a gaping hole which will accomodate 6 U2 batteries or whatever they're called nowadays ?

It has a line in socket on the front, and comes complete with a lead. The sound quality is great, the controls are well laid out and easy to find in a dark bedroom!

Mine arrived also today, it doesn't look any sexier in the flesh but at least it's smaller than I was expecting and it sounds good for a portable.

I live in a notoriously patchy area for DAB reception but it immediatly picked up all the BBC stations plus Virgin, Talk sport and about half a dozen others.

Very pleased for the money
