    Teabelly,

the only people really qualified to comment on your requirements are qualified brokers. I really do think you should take advice, mortgage, overdraft, loans, all are forms of financial agreement that you should be careful before entering into. Is there a specific reason you need to money so quickly?

The money is for building works. I don't know the full amount yet and there is only a small window in which I can fit them in due to work commitments, hence the rush to find a product which would respond quickly when I needed it. The money certainly isn't for shiny things, gambling or debt consolidation :D I had planned to use my cahoot flexible loan for the purpose but it seems as though the rest of the work is going to cost more than I had anticipated and exceed that loan facility, plus cahoot have whacked up the interest rate on it, means extending the mortgage is the most financially sensible option. The interest rate changes soon and I wanted it all done and dusted as soon as I could to save paying cahoot a penny more extra than I had to.
