Is there anyway round mortgage redemption fees?
My partner and I took out a 2 year fixed rate mortgage and now, a year later, we are planning to move abroad. However, the mortgage company will charge us £3,000 if we finish our term with them before the 2 year period. Does anyone know anyway out of this?

No you made a contract which was of two years duration. You now intend to break the contract and will have to pay the early redemption penalty.
I am sorry to be so blunt...0
