I've just moved in with my Bf, and made use of a multi tool- swiss army knife thing from the pound shop my grandad had lying around.
erm... ive also been out and bought hemming tape for tidying up old curtains that came with the flat, string, a picture hanging kit, smoke alarm, brillo pads, scented candles (nothing worse than a place smelling like the last people who lived there!) matress protector,I forgot a can opener, and had bottle opener but not for wine!
Cling film and foil, (i forgot tupperware too lol)
batteries, phone memo pad, first aid kit, dunno if thats what you were going for but thats what i forgot! useless! It only takes a second to say 'Thanks, you just saved me a few quid!'
