Well, unless that one creditor is owed more than 25% of your overall debt then I'd say that's it!
Congratulations!Would you ask the wolves to look after the sheep?

Ha ha probably wise - all the same, you could go mad this evening and have two biscuits with your cup of tea after dinner!
Just reading back over the whole thread - not sure if you mentioned who your IP was but credit where it is due they've done a fine job there! Nice of them to let you know how the voting is going even too though to it's not been finalised yet (foregone conclusion by the sounds of it!)
What I noticed in your posts though was that you mentioned BR was not an option and a DMP would have taken 12 years... which brought to mind an intersting article in the Independent on Friday past concerning DMPs
"A quarter of people on debt management plans will take at least a decade to clear their borrowings, research showed today.
Insolvency trade body R3 said many people are becoming "slaves to their debts", as in 26% of cases it will take 10 or more years to repay what they owe."

It was originally with Debtmatters but after 2 years I got a letter saying it had been transferred to Payplan. DM were a bit of a mare, I had to chase them on many things whereas Payplan have been nothing but helpful and professional and I highly rate them. :TI have kept them abreast of the changes in my circumstances and I believe this is key when maintaining a positive relationship.
Am I also correct in thinking that DMP don't offer the same legal cover an IVA does? I know what you mean about the IVA bashers, I have wondered if someones going to jump on my thread and question my motives but I stick by my reasons for going the IVA route and have nothing but positive praise.2013 wins: Persil Bunny0 -
