Best place to sell unwanted vouchers?

I have received gift vouchers in exchange for an unwanted present from a well known clothing chain. Thing is, I hardly ever shop there and would happily accept less than face value to get rid of them. I don't sell on eBay - apart from gumtree is there anywhere else I can advertise them? I'm based in Belfast by the way.

I had a voucher I won for a Car service from a big UK firm, who of course don't operate in Norn Iron:rolleyes:

Popped it on Ebay and bob's your uncle, I know you may not like Ebay, but its is brilliant for getting shot of allsorts:D

alternatively Christmas is soon apon us, vouchers make good presents;) or stand outside said shop and flog em:D

I also have all my Christmas shopping done for this year and next from Grabbits!!!

I might have to try eBay then, will post an ad on gumtree too. How much would eBay charge for listing, selling etc? I would accept about 25% off face value but don't want to pay too much in charges etc.

Ebay will charge depending on the value of the voucher. You could search on Ebay for other vouchers and see how much they get. There are always loads of M&S vouchers and they seem to get close to the original value. One tip make sure you insure the value of the vouchers when posting - i sold vouchers once and the seller said they didnt receive them, so I end up out of pocket coz i just posted them standard post.

You could try netmums it's local so people collect and pay cash. I've sold lots of stuff through their nearly new board and it's free to advertise.

im in the same situation am stuck with a £100 credit note for HPJ jewellers have til end march 2010 to use it and they have nothing i like! plus they make you put your name and address on it and sign it so my personal details are on it:(

At least my vouchers have no expiry date and my name's not on them!!
