How to get Free PArking Badges?

Could you scan in your parking ticket, then you can load up a graphics package and change the date/time. You wouldn't need the sticky back because the parking bloke wouldnt be able to see it.

Also you could stick a note on the ticket machine saying out of order, and leave a note saying you couldn't pay because the machine was broken , and giving everyone else free parking? Just an idea?

Scanning your ticket and changing the details is a bit desperateand don't forget you have to pay for the paper, ink and time so is it worth it for the sake of a couple of quid and maybe a lawsuit?!

You could put a note on the machine but most car parks do have more than one machine!!
Parking attendants aren't stupid and they won't use that as an excuse, they'll check if the machine works and you'll get a ticket regardless.
If you argue they can just say you should have moved to a different car park.

Better still if you're bothered about doing the honest thing and paying for parking then get the bus!!!!!

people who abuse this system should be ashamed. It comes down to laziness which is a disease which is sweeping the nation. Who would begrudge a person less fortunate than themselves a better parking space. >:(

If you got a disabled badge and you get out the car and are perfectly able to walk then it is morally wrong that you are using the disabled space on that day/ time.

If you are unable to walk the next time and really need the space then its okay.

What gets me is the assumption of some of the disabled that they have an automatic right to use the disabled space or the double yellow, regardless.

Do they think of other diabled who may be in real need of the space on that day.


I've seen perfectly fit people use diabled facilities and then see people with real disabilities not be able to park.

People disabilities change with time/and circumstances but some people will take advantage of the system regardless on how they actualy feel and weather or not they really need the parking concession

Hello Monisaver I have a deal for you, my body changes from hour to hour I could wake up feeling fine but by midday I may be in agony, I never have a day without even moderate pain and on top of that I broke my hip in June but here's the deal I'll let you have my blue badge which I fought tooth and nail to get after filling in forms in triplicate and you let me have your ok body and I will then not even bother with the car I'll walk everywhere hop on trains get buses and jump about, all of which I cannot do now, bitter me no not normally but idiots like Monisaver get my goat.

Oh and I have to say I do agree in principal with what haveagoade says above but again each day I may park and look fine to the world infact I have even had older people come up to me and have a go at me calling me a fraud but they cannot see the pain I am in or the fact that just walking into the shops may make it hard for me to walk back to the car.  I do not feel anger at these people the ones who really make me mad are the idiots who park in disabled bays without badges.  Sigh sorry vent of spleen over.

Ok so Monisaver let me know when I can have your body and I'll ship over the pain killers for you as I'm generous!!   >:(

It is possible to swing the lead and get these bedges as certain areas of the country give them out a lot easier than others and people do misuse them ,so maybe the original poster was just commenting on what he has seen ,therefore it would seem to him easy to get one ...........................I know it's offended some but he and others aren't totally wrong in thinking sometimes the users are not entitled :-/

Yes Traf I can see where you are coming from and yes I am sure some people do manipulate the system what got to me was someone coming out and saying it on here, let them keep their dodgy dealings to themselves, but then we all try to stiff the 'man' in one way or another I suppose it comes down to the morality of each 'freebie' or 'offer' and which ones push our alarm/distaste buttons and which we accept. Ok go on someone tell me I'm talking rubbish I think I'm driveling on here help......
