Senseo Coffee Cups

Does anybody know where the Senseo coffee cups (shown on the front of the Philips Senseo Coffee Maker box) can be obtained? I have only seen them once - as a 'free gift' with the Coffee Machine as demonstrated in large Currys store at Junction 9 (M6).

None of the Stores selling this machine now offer this free gift, and I haven't seen them for sale anywhere.

We've had one of these machines for several years (my wife is Dutch and we bought it there).

We also buy the coffee whenever we are in the Netherlands as it is much better quality and cheaper than the stuff sold in the UK.

Anyway, cut to the chase... the Dutch coffee packs have little tokens on them that you can cut out and send off for 'free' gifts (such as storage jars & branded cups) but I'm not sure if they operate a similar system in the UK.

Failing that, I have seen some for sale on eBay in the past.

    Good luck!

  • Thanks for the reply....have checked UK packets - no tokens!

The ones sold on eBay are glass cups - I am after the ceramic cups.

Might have to look into buying some Dutch coffee!
  • I have contacted the company asking about the cups.

They stated that the cups were initially distributed during the initial promote in the UK in May 2004.

They are now looking for a new supplier to produce the cups for the machines. However this is likely to take a few months to resolve.

    I think the ones you're talking about can be bought at the coffeepodshop.co.uk - £2.99 + p&p.

2 black Coffeecups. Specially designed for Senseo Coffeepod Machines.

OK now that I might believe especially if normal cups are too high or low to fit properly but..

I bought a set of small cups and saucers in my local LIDL that are the perfect size to use with the Senseo Coffee Maker. Box of 6 cups and matching saucers cost £5. Available in white or blue.
